A Sunny Summer Wedding at Tan y Graig, Aberystwyth
This wedding was one of my favourite 2026 weddings and I'm sure you can see why! Leading up to the wedding, Izzy, Harry and I had a zoom call that felt like we were long-time friends. I loved hearing about all their ideas, their families and what they were most looking forward to on the wedding day.
They got ready at a group of cottages near to the venue and the atmosphere when I arrived was just so lovely and chilled. Izzy was waiting for me to arrive to give her bridesmaid their gifts which was a beautiful moment. Once ready, Izzy headed to the venue in a Vintage teal camper van to meet her soon to be groom! After a lovely ceremony (Aberystywth registrars are honestly some of the sweetest I've worked with!), we headed out for a confetti exit as well as a sword arch! Harry (being in the Navy) had some colleagues who offered to do this and it looked so cool! Onto a relaxed, music filled reception with the Hat and Fiddle Band providing all the vibes and Let's go Street Food providing a HUGE selection of street food for all the guests.
Onto the actual venue itself and what can I say? Tan Y Graig is an incredible venue in the most beautiful Welsh countryside run by a wonderful growing family. The light there is incredible and with a clean canvas, rustic look you don't need a lot of decor to make this a show stopper venue.
Days like this are why I absolutely love my job and feel honoured every single time a couple chooses me to capture their day.
